Not again.
They puy "Republican" in front of it.
Why bring Political Status flames into Console Gaming flames?
I don't want to see say, just for example, a Democrat getting mad at a Republican because they wanted to argue their opinion here!
I go here so I don't have to see this damn crap! Come on! This is a gaming site, we only need one kind of flame here. Leave if you are going to bring this crap. Please.
This is a place of conflicted gaming....
In prison, they should only give you 2 meals and make you sleep on the cold, cracked stone floor. Its only humane. If you're gonna do the crime, you should to the time--HARD. No warm blankets and soft beds, no TV-time, no nothing. They shouldn't even be able to see anyone but their families for twenty minutes tops to remind them of what they've done wrong, and why they should never do anything to break the law again.
They're the biggest success on the PC market. Strategy games and Muh-Morpuh-Gahs thrive the PCs existence [and Sims]. FPS; they thrive, but they don't conquer. Because FPS games aren't casual. Strategy Games, MMORPGs, The Sims, everyone plays those. If you have a group of friends that play a MMORPG, you play it. If you have mind you'll play Civ. And if you have a life with friends in the real world you play WoW [I did not mean actual MMORPGs, not as many people play the majority of those as a...
With the amount of money it will cost you to go through short games with little replay value in your minds, why not buy the enemies console? Stop playing Nintendo? Because, if you haven't forgotten about PopCap Games, that is the kind of company Nintendo is becoming. Its not a real gaming company. It just makes "games" that nobody will ever play after the first week. I hate saying it (because I own it; then again I own all three) but I'd consider that. Its not going to change. You'r...
Duh.
We all remember that Dark Knight quote, from quote-master Alfred:
"They all scream that they need it. But they all whisper, 'no'."
If you had the smallest ounce of a brain, and could read English, you would realize many things about Killzone 2's E3 showing. Sure, not only does it have 6 months until they actually put it into production, but I'm sure that the pretty white blinding letters at the top center of the screen screaming "PRE-ALPHA BUILD" would have gotten to someone. If you were smart, though, you would have realized that games controls are fixed in Pre-Beta, and are usually fixed in a little stage of ...
When PSN is free, and has virtually everything Live does (Netflix is extra, people), including not less lagged servers owned by multiple devs, it makes me wonder, why pay for something that you get can get for free? And the cost of Live on the 360 for wifi is even more expensive than a PS3. A bluetooth mic is cheaper than a 360 mic. Wifi comes with the PS3, but is an extra $100 on MS's system. I ended up paying $650 in order to pay for everything Xbox 360 offers that the PS3 already has. And ...
It may be very powerful. But that does not mean that it is as powerful as the PS3. Or more powerful. Just because a horse can run fast does not mean another can run faster. Sometimes, in horse races, horses trip, fall, break unfixeable parts, and end up getting Mr. 12 Gauge to the brain. And become replaced.
We're all going to hear the fanboy flamings here, and we all know whats going to happen later, as it has before:
The Xbox 360 fans are going to say ",The PS3 version slows down in the framerate, and ours doesn't. We have better graphics."
Then the PS3 guys are going to say, "well, we have 8x faster loading, our and we don't even have to switch discs."
Then the Xbox 360 guys are going to say ", well, Blu-Ray sucks, and we have 512 MB of Graphics R...
I just want to listen to music in-game. NO MATTER WHAT. Almost every game has the feature to turn off its own soundtrack of music in-game. Sony, I thought you wanted the PS3 to be a Media Center/ Gaming Console. Where is the inbetween? Xbox 360 certainly can. I want my custom soundtrack!
They've been partnered with games for a while, just like Warner Bros. [WB is making Project Origin, people]. But I'm not sure if anyone cares that they're developing an entire studio for it. Good for them. But they've already been a part of them for years (remember the Saturn? Think OLDER; but I've played some of their games on it; [I got my Saturn from my best friend who got rid of it to get an N64 because it was so horrible that he wouldn't play it anymore]).
My friend just traded in all his 360 games and dipped in to his savings to buy a PS3. The 360 has more games that the PS3 doesn't; but that doesn't mean that they're any good. After MAG, and... God Of War III, and Resistance 2, AND Killzone 2, and LittleBigPlanet... and... after Microsoft's dissapointing Press Conference (the majority of the games would end up on the PS3, so why is it better) with a new layout and Netflix, and 3 games (nothing special there) compared to the variety PS3 is off...
Sales aren't important. If you think they are, then first, we have two things we have to do:
1. The Wii is OUT OF THE PICTURE. It is NOT a Next-Gen Gaming Platform. It is out-dated, and considered Gaming 2.5 (*tear* I think I just stabbed myself and $250 worth of my pride)
2. Compare the sales from launch in an equal stanza. Like, lets say Sony started the race at the same time that Xbox 360 did. But they didn't... but the figures... get it?
...
Well, would ya look...
Unfortunately, I have all three consoles. I hate the fact that Wii has failed miserably in pleasing me, and the fact that the Xbox 360 pulled the ol' Microsoft move in 06' and 07'-- releasing all their major titles in the beginning of its lifespan--only to leave you with a console, and MS with a profit, and, of course, 1 or 2 games to make the system... how may I say this... "worth while."
The thing is though, that since the beginning of the PS3, Sony told us, if you wait for...
Didn't they already promise in-game music? I just want to listen to music while I'm playing this game, not share my music. But, they're using their own "to make the action even more immersive" ? I don't think LittleBigPlanet will have immersive "ACTION." It will just be immersive. And all the music is probably going to be like the music themes they've already displays.
So I'm a bit depressed now.
Remember that speech, you know, the Gaming speech by Sony? Remember when they were talking about Gaming 1.0, and 2.0? Remember 2.5? That's the Wii. Its innovative, but the graphics can also be performed by a PS2. The only thing keeping it up is its Motion Control, which some games don't even use. Even gameplay has been proven as reduced, and replay value is only moderately high for Nintendo brand games, but that doesn't last forever.
The Wii was built to be played in short doses. If yo...
Oh, wow. I've seen the map before, but I've never seen the gun demonstration. It looks very... fun. I'll enjoy playing this with my friends, especially on 8P Co-Op [I'm really interested to play this with my friends who don't own PS3s at my house, as well as online with my friends who do own PS3s on Co-Op Online while playing with my friends. God, the opportunities are endless!]. Can anyone say, "CoD4 Multiplayer Killer?"
This Hands-On fails to do its research in recognising that:
-The Devs dumbed down the A.I. so that the press could play the shown level all the way through.
-The demo was in the Pre-Alpha stage, in which the devs have already stated that the Campaign mode is currently in its Post-Alpha/Pre-Beta phase, and has already fixed some of the errors this preview points out.
-The Devs added certain objects for the gameplay to be quicker and easier, so that its more so getting from...
Everyone and my freakin' dog wants to play this game. My dog. Excited about LittleBigPlanet. That proves one thing. LBP is for the WHOLE family experience, lol. Now sure, my dog isn't that smart, and sure, it was a waste of time to teach my dog to use analog sticks, but its funny as hell to watch. Every 2 seconds she'll move the character, and then she'll bark. What-ev.
